Westpac scores top

Westpac has been named the bank offering New Zealanders the best value in savings and transaction accounts by financial research and ratings company Canstar Cannex.

Canstar national manager Derek Bonnar says after comparing the full suite of deposit accounts Westpac added up to top score for best value across the deposit board.

The award was introduced last year to reward and encourage outstanding value through a variety of cash accounts.
