SYDNEY - Reserve Bank of Australia governor Glenn Stevens has invited several of the world's top central bankers to celebrate his institution's 50th anniversary in February, the Sydney Morning Herald says.
European Central Bank president Jean-Claude Trichet, Federal Reserve Bank of New York president William Dudley and China's central bank governor Zhou Xiaochuan are among those who will attend the celebrations, the newspaper reports.
JPMorgan Chase international president Andrew Crockett, Bank of International Settlements chief Jaime Caruana, the Fed's Janet Yellen, Indian central bank governor Duvvuri Subbarao and the Bank of Israel's Stanley Fischer are also on the invitation list.
