The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission will not block a proposed takeover of Adelaide Bank by regional counterpart Bendigo Bank, the banks said yesterday.
Both companies successfully completed due diligence inquires last week. Adelaide Bank shareholders are expected to receive a scheme document next month, with a scheme meeting and final court hearing scheduled for November.
