America's third largest bank, JPMorgan Chase NA was officially registered in New Zealand yesterday, the Reserve Bank said.
JPMorgan, incorporated in New York and reportedly the third largest bank in the US, would operate as a branch in New Zealand, entirely in the wholesale markets with no retail banking services.
