First Boston name dropped in shake-up

Credit Suisse will drop First Boston from its name as Europe's 10th largest investment bank unifies operations and tries to turn its fortunes around.

The First Boston name dates from 1932 and its logo of a clipper ship will be incorporated in the new Credit Suisse logo as sails.
