New Zealand credit card spending fell for the first time in three months in December, adding to signs of a slow recovery from a recession, according to central bank figures.
Spending fell 1.3 per cent from November, seasonally adjusted, according to the figures from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. Spending rose 1.8 per cent from a year earlier.
