BNZ quiet on divestment rumour

Bank of New Zealand has declined to comment on speculation its Australian parent is looking to divest the business.

Australian media reports said the National Australia Bank has commissioned investment bank Goldman Sachs JBWere to review the prospects of its New Zealand operations.
