The BNZ has today lifted fixed-term mortgage interest rates.
The bank increased its two year standard fixed mortgage rate to 9.69 per cent.
The increased rates had come as a response to an increased cost in funding, a bank spokesperson said.
It follows similar moves by ASB, National, ANZ and Westpac last week.
