Four investment banks have agreed to pay US$428.4 million ($590 million) to settle the class-action lawsuit by investors from the collapse of WorldCom, the New York state comptroller said.
ABN Amro will pay US$278.4 million, while Mitsubishi Securities International will pay US$75 million and BNP Paribas Securities and Mizuho International will pay US$37.5 million each.
