BusinessNZ has launched an advertising campaign to help Canterbury manufacturers struggling in the wake of last month's 6.3 magnitude quake.
Love Christchurch Made, similar to the Buy NZ Made campaign, includes an online directory for businesses to advertise their contact details and products free of charge.
Participating businesses can also purchase red and black Love Christchurch Made stickers and swing tags at cost price.
"This is a great way for New Zealanders and international consumers to show their support for Christchurch manufacturers. It also sends a clear message that these firms are open for business after February's earthquake," Business NZ manufacturing executive director Catherine Beard said.
Buy NZ Made manager Trina Snow said the campaign could also be used by businesses in the service sector.
"The distinctive black and red Love Christchurch Made labelling means people can be sure they are directly giving custom to firms from the earthquake-stricken region," she said.
"The best way to help them move forward and rebuild the Christchurch economy is to give them as much business as possible."
