New Zealand's biggest meat company has been hit with a $6.5 million hike in labour costs as a result of the Government's changes to holidays legislation.
PPCS chief executive Stewart Barnett said changes to how statutory holidays were applied had doubled their cost to the company to $5 million a year and sick pay changes would add $4 million to a payroll of $130 million.
