Yahoo is losing the senior vice president who oversees talent acquisition and development, marking a key executive departure after a string of exits last year.
Sandy Gould, a former recruiting executive at Walt Disney, is departing the Internet company, the Sunnyvale, California-based company said in an e-mail. Gould, who joined Yahoo more than three years ago, didn't say what he would do next.

Chief Executive Officer Marissa Mayer is pushing ahead with a difficult turnaround effort that's included slashing total staffing by about 15 percent and shuttering properties amid growing scrutiny from investors. Gould's departure follows the exit last year of other top executives, including Jacqueline Reses, Yahoo's chief development officer, and Kathy Savitt, who had been chief marketing officer.
"I have decided to leave Yahoo," Gould, whose full title is senior vice president for talent acquisition and development, said in a statement.
