The Engineering, Printing and Manufacturing Union says it has reached settlement with Air New Zealand over the airline's threat to contract out its airport services work.
The settlement is subject to ratification from EPMU members at a series of meetings throughout the country from tomorrow until Friday.
EPMU national secretary Andrew Little said no details about the settlement would be given until it was voted on by members.
The airline has sought to outsource the jobs done by about 1700 ground staff.
