New Zealand salary growth has more than halved over the past year, following growth of up to 5.2 per cent, and is expected to remain subdued for the next couple of years, according to a survey out yesterday.
The median pay increase of 2.5 per cent for the 12 months ended February showed the effects of the recession last year, said David Little, Mercer's Information Product Solution business senior associate.
