The sacked Beehive messenger who leaked details of plans to unbundle Telecom says he is not considering taking a personal grievance against the Government.
Michael Ryan was at his Khandallah home yesterday, working with a leaf blower around his property, when the Herald called.
He declined to give an interview, saying he still had things to clear up.
But asked if that included the possibility of laying a personal grievance case against the Government for the way he was dismissed, Mr Ryan said "no".
"I've never considered a personal grievance case, I don't know where that came from."
Despite reports suggesting his lawyer, Peter Cullen, was investigating laying a complaint, Mr Ryan said Mr Cullen was not behind them either.
Some media reports said last week that Mr Ryan - who has apologised to all affected by his actions - was unhappy about the way he was disciplined, particularly the Government criticism of him when his identity was revealed and he was still officially an employee.
Mr Ryan, 53, tried to resign shortly after Telecom told the commission he was responsible for the leak, but was instead suspended without pay.
He was sacked last week, the day after State Services Commissioner Mark Prebble disclosed his involvement.
His behaviour was described as "disgraceful".
