Intergen has appointed Joe Newton to development and integration manager based in Auckland. He joins the firm from IT services firm Thoughtworks where he was lead architect.

Geneva Finance has promoted Dennis Kelly to chief executive officer. Previously, Kelly was chief operating officer for the Hanover Group.

Greg Currie has been appointed to Harcourts' corporate team in Auckland as business development manager. Currie joined Harcourts in 2004 as a trainer.

Telecommunications firm Cogent Communications, a subsidiary of the Onesource office technology group, has appointed Tim Smith to national mobile manager, based in Auckland. His most recent role was general manager of sales and marketing at Telecom mobile reseller Leading Edge.

Mighty River Power has appointed Ken Bugden as chief financial officer. He joins the organisation from Waste Management, where he has been chief financial officer for the past five years.
