Grand Hotels International has announced the appointment of Stiphan Beher as general manager at the James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor in Wellington. Mr Beher commenced employment last week, taking over from Nigel Harper at the prestigious 260 room property. Born in the United States and raised in Asia, Mr Beher was most recently general manager with Ramada Resorts.

New Zealand health food exporter New Image Group has appointed Brent Wollaston as its general manager manufacturing and supply chain. Mr Wollaston was most recently director of manufacturing and supply chain for Griffins Foods in New Zealand.

Cambridge International Examinations specialist Jacqueline White has been appointed headmistress of senior school, Pinehurst School in Albany. Ms White was a foundation staff member at ACG Senior College and has been at St Peter's College, Auckland, for the past eight years, latterly as deputy principal. She is a member of the Association of Cambridge Schools in New Zealand's Academic Committee.
