TV3 owner MediaWorks has named a group managing director and has gained Jason Paris from state-owned TVNZ.
Sussan Turner, the current chief executive of MediaWorks Radio, has been appointed to the position of group managing director.
Paris, formerly the head of digital media and marketing at TVNZ, was named as chief executive of TV3 and C4. Paris will take over in June from Ian Audsley, an Australian executive who joined the company on a contract in December.
Audsley will continue as executive director of TV until June when he will become a non-executive director of the company.
Belinda Mulgrew was named as the new chief executive of the company's radio division.
MediaWorks chief executive Brent Impey stepped down last year after 10 years at the helm of the company.
MediaWorks is owned by Ironbridge Capital. It originally decided not to have a replacement group chief executive but today announced a new management structure with a group managing director controlling the group.
