Far North milk processor Topmilk will shut at the end of the month with some staff losing their jobs.
Topmilk owner David Reed confirmed the pending closure of the Kaitaia-based company, but declined to specify how many redundancies there would be among the 15-20 staff.
"Not all will lose their jobs," he said. The closure will leave just one independent milk processor in Northland.
