Jobs market next for Trade Me

John Fairfax will enter the online jobs sector through its Trade Me acquisition, Australian media reports say.

"The online jobs market is pretty well saturated for IT, accounting and finance but greatly underserved for localised jobs and jobs that normal people do," Trade Me founder and chief executive Sam Morgan said.

"We will take it to small businesses and replace the situations vacant sections of the paper."
