Businesses with up to 50 staff are now eligible for government-subsidised management training, Economic Development Minister Trevor Mallard announced today.
The training, co-ordinated through New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, had previously been available to firms with up to 20 staff.
Mr Mallard said feedback indicated the change would allow larger firms with few specialised managers to upskill other staff.
General subjects included business planning, marketing, finance, business systems, managing resources and exporting.
