A three-day lockout at tyre giant Bridgestone's Adelaide plant was due to end at midnight last night but the dispute over a new pay deal seems no closer to being resolved. The company decided last Thursday to halt production at the suburban Salisbury plant for three days.
Unions want an annual 4 per cent pay rise over the next three years, but the company has offered a total of 6 per cent over the same period along with cash incentives and productivity bonuses.
