The International Association of Machinists, Boeing's largest union, said yesterday that its members rejected the plane maker's latest three-year contract offer and voted to walk off the job.
Nearly 27,000 Boeing workers were overnight due to start a strike that will cost the company about US$100 million ($148 million) in revenue per day.
