Air NZ appoints Carter

Tony Carter will join Air New Zealand's board as an independent director on December 1.

Carter, who trained as an engineer, recently resigned as managing director of supermarket operator Foodstuffs New Zealand and will resign as managing director of Foodstuffs Auckland on December 1.
