Air NZ agrees to talks over cleaners

Air New Zealand has agreed to talks with unions before firing about 110 cleaners and reviewing the jobs of its ground-handling staff.

The Engineering, Printing and Manufacturing Union said yesterday the airline had agreed to discussions before deciding whether to hire outside contractors to clean aircraft.
