AgResearch job cuts

The decision to axe up to 43 jobs at AgResearch, the Government's biggest state science company, will hamper growth in the most productive parts of NZ's economy, says former Agriculture Minister Jim Anderton. Redundancies were a direct result of the Government's "anti-science" policies, he said.
