The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) has left official interest rates unchanged at 5.50 per cent for the 13th consecutive month.
The central bank last lifted interest rates by 25 basis points to 5.50 per cent in March 2005.
Economists had forecasted that interest rates would not be changed.
