SYDNEY - Domino's Pizza has merged with Christchurch-based Mad Dog Pizza.
New Zealand's second largest pizza chain, Domino's Pizza Australia New Zealand Ltd, will convert six Mad Dog Pizza stores to Domino's stores over the next two months.
Owned by Grant Williams and Barry Cox, the six Mad Dog Pizza stores are Hornby, St Albans, Bishopdale, Woolston, Addington and New Brighton.
The move follows Domino's Pizza's recent purchase of Pizza Haven New Zealand in March.
The pizza chain is hoping to operate 46 stores, across both north and south island, by June 30, 2005.
Domino's, which plans to float on the Australian Stock Exchange on May 16, is offering 34 million shares at A$2.20 ($2.36) each until tomorrow to raise A$75 million.
