Dental software company Software of Excellence International (SOEI) has sold out of US-based General Systems Design (GSD). The company had already reduced its stake in GSD to 49 per cent.
It will get a US$58,800 ($84,500) share of an initial payment with up to another US$127,400 over the next 18 months.
SOEI will also get about US$63,700 net profit earnings, up to the date of handover, applicable to the current financial year.
SOEI will earn royalties from the new owners who have been given a licence to sell the firm's dental school software in Europe. Shares closed down 3c at $2 yesterday.
