Shares in dental technology company Software of Excellence rose nearly 3 per cent today after the company outlined its success in the Australian market.
SOE said its new unit sales across the Tasman had increased 28 per cent since the company's purchase of Oasis Software in December 2005.
Oasis had had an 18 per cent increase in unit sales from the previous year.
Oasis founder and developer Noel Morley is continuing to work with the company as head of development.
Software of Excellence's general manager for the Asia-Pacific, Mike Engle, said his company was now the market leader in the Australian market, with a total of over 1500 sites.
"We are also looking to expand our offering to our existing customer base through the sale of our open dental imaging software and associated imaging hardware. This mirrors the approach which we are using in the UK."
Software of Excellence shares rose 5c to $1.90 today, compared with a range of 99c to $2.10 during the past year.
