The Commerce Bank of the Czech Republic has selected Albany software maker Dejar to supply its statement and billing image management system.
Dejar is a subsidiary of Solution Dynamics, a privately held vehicle to manage it and three other companies working in print management and mailout systems.
Solution Dynamics chief executive officer Rob Ford said the deal was 18 months in the making.
He said Dejar had partnered with a European distributor to land the deal, the value of which was not revealed.
The Dejar-built software allows organisations sending out bills or statements to manage vast amounts of data by breaking it down into easy to manage and store components.
Because Dejar stores elements of data on a page, rather than a whole page, it is able to create smaller files which when called up by a user are reproduced "into a template" of the original.
Organisations such as TelstraClear, Cardlink, Rodney District Council, Hamilton City Council and Waste Management use the software to make their billing and mailout systems more efficient.
