DB Breweries has announced its replacement for long-serving managing director Brian Blake, who will stand down early next year after 20 years.
Briton Andy Routley is moving from his home country to take over the role in March. He has worked for a number of businesses with global brands including Unilever and London-based brewing giant SAB Miller, where he was marketing director of Miller beer for four years. Most recently he was British managing director of US-listed personal care firm Church & Dwight.
Routley said he and his family were looking forward to moving to New Zealand.
"I know that Brian Blake has played a significant role in DB over the past 20 years and I greatly appreciate the strong position that he leaves the business in, with DB achieving double-digit profit growth over the past three years."
Brian Blake will remain DB's chairman after the handover.
