HAVANA (AP) An opinion column published in Cuba's official media acknowledges that recent bans on the sale of imported goods and private 3D cinemas are unpopular among many islanders and have sparked significant debate.
The article published Monday in the Communist Party newspaper Granma says an informal survey of more than 150 people found widespread discontent with the measures.
It hints that that the ban on home movie theaters may be reconsidered.
But it makes clear that there's no law that allows individuals to sell imported hardware and clothing.
