Cortell made BEA agent

Global IT company BEA Systems has appointed IT sales and development company Cortell as a reseller of its services in New Zealand, a move BEA says will help it spearhead growth outside its traditional government market. Cortell has about 80 staff globally with offices in New Zealand, Australia, the US and South Africa.

Cortell's reseller agreement with BEA does not affect other New Zealand partnership arrangements BEA has with a number of companies including Optimation, Datacom and BeeringPoint.

BEA's New Zealand customers include several Government departments.
