The company at the centre of a corrupt arrangement involving millions of dollars and bribes and roading contracts from Auckland councils has been liquidated.
According to the Companies Office insolvency firm Rodger Reidy were appointed to Projenz (2005) on Friday.
Liquidator Derek Ah Sam told the Herald the move followed a resolution by shareholders.
Stephen Borlase, the company's sole director and majority shareholder, was convicted earlier this month of paying nearly $1.3 million in bribes from the company to a small group of council employees responsible for roading contacts.
During a seven-week trial, the High Court at Auckland had heard Projenz lavished cash, entertainment and overseas travel on the council staffers, and in return had won tens of millions of dollars in roading contracts.
