Cooper Brewery victory

Coopers Brewery has secured a major victory in its bid to block Lion Nathan's A$352 million ($378 million) hostile takeover.

The South Australia Supreme Court has dismissed an appeal by Lion Nathan that tried to overturn a ruling last month that granted Coopers shareholders the right to vote to remove Lion Nathan's rights to buy its shares.
