Confidence hits 12-month low, Auckland chamber finds

Confidence hit a 12-month low in a survey of more than 1000 business people conducted by the Auckland Chamber of Commerce early last week

Results showed 40 per cent of firms believed conditions will get worse over the next six months, up from 21 per cent of this in March and in line with a year ago.

Only 18 per cent believe conditions will improve, compared to 27 per cent in the March survey.
