New Zealand Experience, operator of Rainbow's End theme park, reported a $572,000 profit in the six months to December 31, down 3 per cent on last year. It is not paying an interim dividend.
Visitor numbers fell 500 to 144,000, but revenue per customer improved so total revenue increased 2 per cent to $4.8 million. A reduction in visits from corporate customers before Christmas was offset by the opening of the new Invader ride on December 10.
