Millennium Hotels and Resorts said it would take on a three-month contract to manage the troubled Metropolis Hotel in downtown Auckland so its body corporate committee could organise a tender for the management rights during the term.
Millennium vice-president Matt Taplin said they planned to continue to run a hotel on the premises.
