Creditors owed $1,163,500 from Suzanne Paul's failed North Shore Maori village tourism project will get nothing unless she stumps up with some cash, the liquidator said yesterday.
Rawaka Village went into voluntary liquidation last year several months after it opened.
Last August, Ms Paul publicly endorsed a bronzing powder, which a spokesman said was to get the money to pay back more than 50 creditors from the failed village.
However, liquidator Mike Lamacraft said yesterday he had not heard from her and had no idea if she would come up with any money.
Asked how much creditors would get from the liquidation of the business if Ms Paul failed to come up with any money, he replied: "Nothing, nothing at all."
There were few assets to sell. Some were secured to one lender and were sold for about $20,000.
Mr Lamacraft said he could close the liquidation and creditors would get nothing or he could be patient in the hope they would get something.
He said he would keep the process open for another two months and review it "to see if there is any light at the end of the tunnel".
Ms Paul failed to appear at a creditors' meeting last year but sent a message through Mr Lamacraft that she would do everything she could to repay them.
