KEY POINTS:
Sky City has appointed Simon Jamieson as manager of the group's two Auckland hotels.
He will be responsible for the Grand and Sky City hotels, as well as a convention centre and the well-known tourist attraction and restaurant, the Sky Tower.
Jamieson has had 25 years' experience in the hospitality and tourism industry. He has been involved in opening several luxury hotels in New Zealand and Asia, and has served as a director of the New Zealand Tourism Association.
