KEY POINTS:
Jasons Travel Media has conditional agreements with two New Zealand tourism marketing operators to buy assets aligned to its existing businesses.
The two acquisitions would cost less than $1.5 million, and would be debt-funded. One was the on-line accommodation booking businesses of Strait Solutions, including four websites which Jasons chief executive Steven Joyce said had one of the largest lists of accommodation properties supplying room availability and collecting on-line bookings in New Zealand. The other was Whyte Waters Group's brochure distribution business in Queenstown, and two of its print publications, Queenstown Visitor Guide and Queenstown Dining Guide.
Shares in Jasons last traded on Tuesday at 71c. They have ranged between 48c and 82c in the past year.
