Jasons Travel Media's half-year net profit fell 15.7 per cent to $1.2 million as the company kept up spending on its regional and city visitor guides even as revenue from the publications contracted.
The company said it was unlikely to repeat the annual profit performance achieved last year.
While revenue would grow, year-end earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation were expected to be about $1.8 million, compared to about $2.1 million last year.
An unchanged interim dividend of 1.5c a share is to be paid.
