KEY POINTS:
Phone services company Zintel has bought 3000 business customers in Sydney from Concert Telecom.
The conditional purchase of A$980,000 ($1,095,000) for the customer base would be profitable immediately, although its ongoing contribution would be only small, chief executive Peter Revell said.
The acquisition, funded from existing cash reserves, is effective from June 29.
The customers mainly bought toll services and fixed lines, as well as mobile phone and broadband internet services.
