The Commerce Commission is taking more time over a decision on whether Telecom Wholesale's "loyalty offers" are a breach of the company's separation undertakings.
The commission began an investigation in late August which was expected to be concluded yesterday after the company's watchdog, the Independent Oversight Committee, upheld a complaint by Vodafone and Orcon about the cut-price wholesale offers.
The offers, which gave a discount to ISPs taking the majority of their business to Telecom, were removed from the market at the end of last month. The commission is now expected to release a decision next Friday.
