KEY POINTS:
Communications Minister David Cunliffe has extended the deadline for Telecom to tell him how it intends to split its business into wholesale, retail and network divisions.
The Government last year ordered Telecom to undertake the split and its amended draft separation plan was due today.
Its original draft was put out for public consultation in October.
Mr Cunliffe said at Telecom's request he had extended the deadline to Wednesday next week.
