Telecom expects its Yellow Pages unit, which is for sale, to have revenue growth of 13 per cent this year.
In an information memorandum distributed to potential bidders by Telecom's adviser, Goldman Sachs JBWere, Telecom said it expected Yellow Pages' revenue to reach about $280 million in the year to June, The Dominion Post reported today.
Telecom expected the unit to deliver earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (ebitda) in excess of $160 million this year.
Yellow Pages is tipped to fetch up to $2.2 billion, with Telecom wanting any sale completed by June.
The Yellow Pages group consists of the printed Yellow Pages, White Pages, and their on-line equivalents, Local Directories, New Zealand Retirement Guide and New Zealand Tourism Online.
