Global technology company NEC says it is launching new business telephony equipment in New Zealand and aims to become a significant local supplier of unified communications products linking landlines and mobile phones through a single system.
The move will see NEC compete more aggressively in the large and small-to-medium business market against other unified communications providers, including Cisco and Microsoft.
