Vodafone said yesterday it added 24,000 net new New Zealand mobile customers in the June quarter to 2.27 million.
Vodafone, which along with Telecom owns one of just two mobile networks in New Zealand, said 75.2 per cent of those were prepaid customers.
The company added 44,000 new customers in the March quarter, when it held 53.7 per cent of domestic mobile market share.
Total average monthly mobile revenue per user rose to a total $47.1 from $46.6 a year earlier, although it was higher at $50.7 in the December quarter.
Telecom releases its results next month.
