The Commerce Commission has filed its final report on mobile phone charges with the Government, but its details won't be known until at least next week.
The report contains the commission's advice on how to lower mobile termination rates, or the amount cellphone companies charge other phone providers for putting calls through to their mobile network.
A decrease to termination rates is expected to lower overall costs for cellphone users.
A commission spokeswoman said the onus was on Communications Minister David Cunliffe to make the findings public.
A spokesman for Cunliffe said the minister was out of the country and would review the report on Wednesday.
